I'm breaking the rules today by posting 2 pictures, but I need to pay tribute to my amazing mother who I am missing more than usual today. Even with 3000 miles between us, she is always with me. She is my go to person when I need advice and the first person I call when I have great news. She is also the first person I call when I have a problem. She is an inspiration to me and I am proud to say that since this photo was taken almost one year ago, she has lost several sizes and close to 40 pounds. Mom, I love you and could not be more proud to be your daughter!
T, my BIL and I took my MIL to the Mother's Day Brunch at the Hawthorne Hotel in Salem, Massachusetts.
http://www.hawthornehotel.com/ We found it last year and had a great time so we decided to go for it again. The scalloped potatoes were the hit of the day! We were thrilled to be able to celebrate my wonderful mother in law, who has welcomed me into the family with open arms and raised my husband to be the caring and sensitive man that he is. I'm very lucky!
